On September 24, the University of Pavia officially opened the academic year 2025β2026 with theΒ Opening Ceremony of the Masterβs Programme in International Business and Economics (MIBE).
The event introduced incoming students to the programme and to the opportunities awaiting them as part of the MIBE community. ProfessorsΒ Chiara DemartiniΒ andΒ Valentina BerettaΒ presented theΒ DIGI-ME project, highlighting how digital skills and innovative study paths will play a central role in the studentsβ academic journey.



The ceremony also featured insights from distinguished guest speakers, includingΒ Professor Federico PigniΒ (Grenoble Ecole de Management),Β Professor Sniazhana Diduc Β (University of Vaasa),Β Professor Enrico Cotta Ramusino,Β Professor Martin MessnerΒ (University of Innsbruck),Β Federico Bonelli, CEO ofΒ GRUPPO RES,Β Professor Charl de VilliersΒ (University of Auckland), andΒ MIBE Ambassador Grace O.A. Jayeola, who shared their expertise and inspired the audience.
The day concluded with a convivial aperitivo, giving new students the chance to connect, exchange experiences, and begin building their identity as βMIBERs.β
