📍 The 7th edition of the Sustainability Report Award was held in Milan at the headquarters of the London Stock Exchange Group.
The initiative was organized by the University of Pavia in collaboration with LSEG and was based on a comprehensive study focused on the analysis of 2024 sustainability reports across Lombardy, an Italian region.
The Scientific Committee adopted a structured evaluation methodology combining quantitative scoring and qualitative assessment, considering:
• the level of ESG formalization
• the integration of sustainability standards and SDGs
• methodological completeness
• management of material ESG topics and environmental and social impacts
• the use of external assessments, certifications, and tools such as Life Cycle Assessment
This approach enabled the assignment of awards across different company categories, as well as several special recognitions, with the goal of spreading best practices and strengthening a culture of non-financial performance reporting Canovaccio
Among the key innovations of this year’s edition:
✔ a specific focus on the Lombardy territory to promote measurable local impact
✔ the introduction of the Bilanci POP category to enhance transparency in public-sector reporting
✔ a dedicated Diversity & Inclusion award supported by LSEG Data & Analytics
The ceremony celebrated excellence in integrated reporting, ESG impact, circular economy, social and environmental performance, and sustainability-driven business strategy, recognizing organizations that stand out for transparency, innovation, and long-term value creation.
