Over the course of several weeks, the Digi-Me Vaasa project team, led by Sniazhana Diduc and Rumy Narayan, conducted a series of interactive workshops with representatives from local companies to gather insights on the future of digital skills and competencies.
The discussions emphasized several priority areas for the workforce of tomorrow, including data literacy and analytics, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital collaboration, and sustainable technology solutions. Company representatives also highlighted the importance of adaptability, continuous learning, and cross-disciplinary problem-solving as essential skills in increasingly digitalized industries.
By creating a sustained forum for dialogue, the workshops allowed business leaders and experts to share perspectives on emerging digital demands and workforce readiness.
