We are pleased to announce that the DIGI-ME Data Management Plan (DMP) has been successfully achieved and formally reviewed.
This milestone confirms the project’s strong commitment to high-quality data governance, ensuring that all information generated within DIGI-ME is managed responsibly, securely, and in full compliance with EU regulations and GDPR requirements.
Importantly, the Data Management Plan has also been checked and validated by the Ethics Committee, ensuring that DIGI-ME follows the highest standards in terms of privacy, informed consent, and ethical handling of sensitive data.
The approved plan provides a clear framework for:
- secure data collection and storage
- ethical and privacy-protective management of sensitive information
- structured documentation and metadata practices
- controlled access, sharing, and reuse of results
- long-term preservation aligned with FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable)
Achieving this step represents an important foundation for the next phases of DIGI-ME, supporting transparency, reliability, and the sustainable use of project data.
Stay tuned for upcoming updates as DIGI-ME continues to progress toward its goals.
