SUMMARY:Summer School 2026 in Research Approaches in Sustainability Management and Reporting
DESCRIPTION:Summer School “Research Approaches in Sustainability Management and Reporting” is an advanced program designed as a research-oriented training experience\, with a strong focus on research methodology applied to sustainability. Its goal is to provide participants with solid and advanced methodological skills to analyze sustainability challenges in a rigorous and structured way. In a context where Environmental\, Social\, and Governance (ESG) issues are becoming increasingly central to organizational strategies and European policies\, the program provides tools to design\, conduct\, and critically evaluate research in sustainability management and reporting. The main focus is on research methods applicable to sustainability and reporting\, equipping participants with the tools to explore these disciplines in depth\, develop rigorous research designs\, and carry out independent and applied research projects. Particular emphasis is placed on both qualitative and quantitative methodologies\, as well as empirical and data-driven analysis. SUMMARY:University of Vaasa Summer School: International Entrepreneurship course (Blended Intensive Programme)
DESCRIPTION:Multidisciplinary Summer School by domain experts\nThe Summer School on Entrepreneuship and Venturing combines lectures\, discussion sessions and workshops with practical activities lead by domain experts. The guest speakers of the programme include renowned academics as well as company representatives. Our instructors are experts in their fields and teach with enthusiasm and contemporary relevance. As it is a multidisciplinary course that invites students from different universities\, you will get to work together with students from different fields and backgrounds. \nThe Summer School takes place in Vaasa\, also known as the energy hub of the Nordic countries. Vaasa is the educational\, cultural and tourist centre of Western Finland\, located by the sea near the Kvarken Archipelago World Heritage area. Our unique maritime campus is a short walk away from Vaasa city centre. Each week of the Summer School\, we will organise extra-curricular activities in the beautiful seaside city and its surroundings. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWho is the Summer School for?\nThe Summer School is for students in higher education institutions who are interested to build a global start-up or seeking to work at an established company with intrapreneurial competences sparking innovations that have the potential to address global market needs. We welcome students from different academic disciplines and levels. The programme is in English\, so you need to have fluent English language skills to participate. \nThe Summer School is free of charge for degree students from the University of Vaasa\, other higher education units located in Vaasa\, degree students at partner universities of the University of Vaasa and of network partners in HERMES and GBSN. The first week of the Summer School is organised as an Erasmus+ blended intensive programme and is thus available only for a selected number of institutions. Weeks two and three are broader in scope and open for students from all partner institutions. Only partner institutions of the University of Vaasa are able to nominate students for the International Summer School on Entrepreneurship and Venturing. \nPlease note that only the first week is organised as a blended intensive programme (BIP) with Erasmus+ support. \nParticipants must be of the age of 18 or older. Please note that the University of Vaasa is not able to support with travel arrangements or visas\, so make sure that you have sufficient time for these arrangements. Kindly note that the University of Vaasa doesn’t provide you with housing during the Summer School.
