SUMMARY:Summer School 2026 in Research Approaches in Sustainability Management and Reporting
DESCRIPTION:Summer School “Research Approaches in Sustainability Management and Reporting” is an advanced program designed as a research-oriented training experience\, with a strong focus on research methodology applied to sustainability. Its goal is to provide participants with solid and advanced methodological skills to analyze sustainability challenges in a rigorous and structured way. In a context where Environmental\, Social\, and Governance (ESG) issues are becoming increasingly central to organizational strategies and European policies\, the program provides tools to design\, conduct\, and critically evaluate research in sustainability management and reporting. The main focus is on research methods applicable to sustainability and reporting\, equipping participants with the tools to explore these disciplines in depth\, develop rigorous research designs\, and carry out independent and applied research projects. Particular emphasis is placed on both qualitative and quantitative methodologies\, as well as empirical and data-driven analysis. The Summer School is co-funded by the European DIGI-ME project (change: previously “funded”)\, which supports the development of digital skills for sustainable innovation\, with a specific focus on their application in research and data analysis. \n📢 The call for applications is now open: https://digime-project.eu/educational-offer/call-for-application/master-program-long-life-learning/ \nThe program is delivered in a blended format\, combining:\nan online component (June 1–5\, 2026)\nan in-person session at the University of Pavia (June 8–12\, 2026)\nfor a total of approximately 40 hours of teaching activities. DESCRIPTION:The Winter School “Discovering the Unknown: AI in Healthcare” will take place from December 15th to 19th\, 2026\, at the University of Pavia (Italy). \nThe programme combines in-person lectures and activities to provide participants with key knowledge on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)\, particularly explainable and trustworthy AI\, in the healthcare sector. \nParticipants will attend lectures\, workshops\, and roundtables led by international experts\, gaining practical insights into AI ethics\, digital healthcare leadership\, and technology-enhanced decision-making.\n\n\nThe Winter School “Discovering the Unknown: AI in Healthcare” will take place from December 14th to 18th\, 2026\, at the University of Pavia (Italy). \nThis international initiative\, organised by the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pavia\, combines virtual learning with in-person activities in Pavia. The programme aims to provide students and professionals with foundational and practical knowledge on the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)\, particularly Explainable and Trustworthy AI (XAI)\, in the healthcare sector. \nAgenda and Topics\nA panel of international experts will deliver lectures\, workshops\, and roundtables on key themes such as: \n\nAI and data mining in healthcare management;\nExplainable and trustworthy AI;\nEthics and AI;\nDigital healthcare leadership;\nTechnology-enhanced learning and decision-making in healthcare.\n\nDuring the in-person sessions in Pavia\, participants will take part in interactive workshops\, roundtables\, and group project work designed to consolidate their learning and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.
