From September 3rd to 5th, the DIGI-ME project marked an important milestone with its first reporting period review meeting in Palermo. Partners from Finland, France, and Italy gathered at CNR (Italian National Research Council) to welcome the Project Officer from HaDEA (European Health and Digital Executive Agency), who evaluated the progress achieved during the project’s first 18 months.
The discussions highlighted major achievements, including the completion of the targeted skills framework, which identifies the digital and managerial competencies shaping DIGI-ME’s educational offer. The project also showcased the first steps toward the launch of the Digital Ecosystem for Transformative Innovation (DETI) and prepared for the upcoming master programmes to be offered by the University of Pavia, Grenoble Ecole de Management, and the University of Vaasa.
Crucially, valuable feedback from the Project Officer was gathered during the review, helping partners ensure that the project’s main goals can be achieved in the most effective way.

The meeting also featured contributions from key speakers, including Dr. Iole Candido from Confindustria Sicilia, Dr. Barbara Angelini from the Technology Transfer Office of CNR, Professor Giovanni Battista Dagnino from LUMSA – Libera Università degli Studi Maria Ss. Assunta di Palermo, and Professor Marcantonio Ruisi from Università degli Studi di Palermo. Their perspectives enriched the discussions, linking the project’s progress with local and international expertise.
Beyond the formal review, the event provided an opportunity for valuable in-person collaboration, helping partners advance ongoing activities. It also served as a platform to present and disseminate DIGI-ME to CNR’s broader network of partners, reinforcing the project’s visibility and impact.
